The Cura Air Chair & Cura Attollo Bariatric Portable chair

The Cura Air chair is a modern designed, independent Tilt-in-Space, multi dual movement care chair that has standard features but is also available to be adapted for any client type and size, children through to Bariatric. Standard features are listed below followed by some of the Bespoke options available.

Main Features (standard)

The Cura air chair back rest is a thoracic lateral support with an adjustable filling of Dacron or memory foam which is attached with Velcro to the back of the chair.  There is also a detachable head pillow that can be adjusted for contour via a zip in the back of the head rest allowing you to manipulate and mould for support.

The Millennium Recline Chair

The Millennium Recline Chair is a traditionally designed and includes Tilt-in-Space Dual Rise & Recline

The Millennium Recline Chair has stylish curved wings which give support to the waterfall back cushions or the thoracic/lateral support back rest cushions (new style) not shown in this picture.

The two action “tilt-in-space” is a widely used movement but now has the facility to move the backrest independently so you have a dual action and a two-way movement all in one, where before you would have to choose between the two.

The back rest is a waterfall or thoracic lateral support back with adjustable filling called Dacron or memory foam.  The pillows are attached onto the back rest with Velcro; the zipped pillows give easy access to the filling which can be manipulated to give soft moulded support.

Optional extras:

The patented electric lift up arm can be added to the Millennium allowing for wheelchair transfers.

3 options of pressure relief:

1. Static air pressure relief can be added to the overlay to help prevent pressure sores
2. Gel and memory foam for high dependency pressure relief “grade 3”
3. Alternating active air cell cushions for very high pressure relief “grade 4”

You can choose between 3 shades of wood for the knuckle arm:

2. Medium Oak
3. Natural beech

The Millennium

The Elevator

The Elevator is a modern designed extreme high vertical Dual Rise & Recline Chair.

The Legacy

The Cura Legacy is a modern design independent Tilt-in-Space multi dual movement “modular chair” which boasts incredible adjustability to ensure that the user is always comfortable with good postural support.

The dimensions of the chair are all adjustable, the seat angle, the back angle, the seat depth and seat width can all be changed with ease, ensuring the client is seated correctly.  The seat width is adjustable from 16” to 20” and the seat depth can be adjusted between 17” and 21”, the seat rake has 3 position adjustments.

The Tilt-in-Space recline is reclined by means of a hydraulic gas mechanism trigger whilst the back rest angle is changed manually on a 7 point adjustment pull pin.  The legacy chair also features a hydraulic gas action leg rest elevation that is controlled by a pull lever at the side of the chair.

The back rest has options of thoracic lateral or butterfly thoracic support, this provides the best lateral support available to ensure the client’s core stability is maximised. Back rests can also be moulded for the individual’s body contours if required.

Optional footplates 90 degree fixed angle or 90 degree adjustable angle are available.

Pressure care seat systems;  the standard chair is supplied with a memory foam cushion and overlay as standard, upgrade options are for gel seat cushions and air cell cushions for high dependency grade 3 or dynamic alternating air technology cushions can also be used giving grade 4 very high dependency.

The Porta Cura care chair is a modular chair that features complete manual adjustability. The seat width, depth, rake, and backrest angle can all be changed to attain the most comfortable position possible.

With a built-in tilt-in-space function, the Porta Cura offers good pressure relief by redistributing the user’s weight over a larger surface area.

This care chair boasts interchangeable cushions; the lateral thoracic model, or the waterfall support option. There is also adjustable legrest elevation, seat to footplate support and arm height to suit the user.

This care chair is covered in a 4-way stretch fabric, however a wide range of other materials are available.
