The Legacy Medica (manual) has been designed to meet the needs of semi and non-ambulant users. Nurses, Carers and home help find the Legacy Medica Chair easy to move and adjust whatever the environment. The portable care chair boasts dynamic tilt-in-space and incredible adjustability. This helps the user achieve optimal postural support and comfort. This chair is well suited to service users requiring thoracic/lateral support to aid the client’s core stability.

All chair dimensions are adjustable. The seat angle, back angle, seat depth and the seat width can all be changed with ease to ensure the client is seated correctly. 

The tilt-in-space reclines by means of a hydraulic gas mechanism trigger. Whilst the back rest angle is changed manually by adjustment pull pin. The Legacy chair also features a hydraulic action leg rest elevation controlled by a pull lever on the side of the chair.

There are two pressure care seating systems available. Our standard chair is supplied with a Systam-Gel seat cushion and overlay, providing (high dependency grade 3) pressure relief. There is an optional upgrade to dynamic alternating air cell cushions for (very high dependency grade 4).
