The Cura Legacy care chair boasts incredible adjustability to ensure that the user is always comfortable

procare mobility spacer

The Cura Medica Care Chair has numerous motorised adjustable features and is based on the based on the highly successful Legacy Medica. The Cure Medica Care Chair uses a 6 button handset for total, effortless control. This includes the tilt-in-space, leg elevation and back rest angles. Designed for semi and non-ambulant users, The Cura Medica Care Chair can be used in a variety of care environments. It has been particularly successful in use on Stroke Wards and Rehabilitation Units for clients who require strong postural support.

When seated in the Cura Medica, the service user can fully adjust their position using the handset. This includes altering the tilt-in-space, the back angle and the leg elevation, creating smooth and comfortable transitions.

The Cura Medica Care Chair is just as easy to manoeuvre

The four adjustable locking castors and wing push handle make this chair very easy to manoeuvre between wards.  The fitted re-chargeable battery pack means that the chair can be moved to any location without requiring a plug socket. It has also been designed so that it is easy to sanitize in a hospital environment, by using wipe clean fabric and removable twist clip or press stud coverings.

There are two pressure care seating systems available. Our standard chair is supplied with a Systam-Gel seat cushion and overlay, providing (high dependency grade 3) pressure relief. There is an optional upgrade to dynamic alternating air cell cushions for (very high dependency grade 4).
